The NEW Strolling Art Show

From Robin Heywood, Art Coordinator:

Hello Jessie Beck Families!

I hope you are all doing well and hope you have enjoyed your Art to Grow Home Edition art activities.

You may have guessed one of my favorite events at Jessie Beck is our Annual Strolling Art Show. It truly makes my heart smile seeing all the families coming together to see the art. The children showing their artwork and that of their friends, the conversations, excitement, the pride, classroom walking tours around the school to view together; honestly, it makes me smile just thinking about it.  I really thought we would just miss it this year until It was suggested (thank you Ali Ball) that we could create a Strolling Art Show for everyone to participate. To give our neighborhood a chance to see our art and bring joy to our community. The show must go on!

Here's how you can be involved:

Step 1: PRINT

Tell your friends and family that you're participating so they know where to look.

Don't forget to share to Facebook and Instagram your art and the art you see on your stroll.

Step #6: STROLL

Picture
Take a stroll or ride with your family and “SPY” the art.

On your stroll, stop by Jessie Beck and sign the large heart canvas with “thank you”. It will be located on the Kindergarten fence on Sharon way. This canvas with all our hearts and “thanks” will be sent to our front-line heroes in appreciation for all they do for our community.

Wishing you all the best now and always.
