Growing Forward: Summary of Back to School Goals
We are currently seeking Parent Room volunteers to help care for the garden over the school year. No experience is needed. Please contact Mandy Colbert using the form below if you are interested.
Everyone is encouraged to visit and explore the garden now that school is back in session. There will be a Garden Journal in the blue box. This journal is for us to keep notes on the coming and goings of Hearts and Spades Garden Club. There is lots of information and ideas in the journal as well! We are looking forward to another great year of gardening!

GARDEN HISTORY
On a beautiful, sunny day in March 2015, a group of parents and staff built the new beds in our school garden...
Almost half of the classes participated the first season and Hearts and Spades Garden Club was born.
Garden Project Scope: the new Jessie Beck Garden will serve as a space to conduct hands-on outdoor/science learning and provide a community-building activity that is educational and fun. Students will learn teamwork, responsibility, science, patience, critical thinking, and how to get dirty:). Come grow with us!!
