Join Jessie Beck's Walking School Bus

What is a Walking School Bus?
A Walking School Bus is a group of children walking to school with one or more adults. The adults walking with the kids are parent volunteers and act as “Bus  Drivers”. They have been checked and approved through the same school standards set forth for any school volunteer.  They can be identified by their brightly colored vests.

When and where does the bus go?
The walking school bus is not established yet for the 2021/2022 school year, but in years past it has followed the route shown on the map.

All students are welcome.
All Jessie Beck students are invited to join the Walking School Bus.  Please don’t think your child cannot participate because you don’t live along one of these routes. You can bike or drive your child to any of the Bus Stops so they can take part in this healthy and environmentally friendly program.

Why have a Walking School Bus?
The Walking School Bus promotes physical activity as well as environmental sustainability.  It is essential for the health of our children and the future of our air quality.

We're looking for "bus drivers"!  If you are interested, please fill out the form below. Thank you!
