Jog-A-Thon: May 16, 2025

READY, SET, RUN...
The Jog-a-thon is a school-wide fundraiser that supports Jessie Beck's needs while promoting health. Please register now to help our school raise as much as we can for Interventionists, Aides, PE, Music, Classroom supplies, Library books in Spanish and English, Copiers, printers, toner, Literacy, Technology, Art, Social Emotional Learning, Garden, Staff Appreciation, Support for at-risk students, and more.

FUNDRAISING GOAL
Our goal this year is $60,000+

This year, we are returning to our roots - a homegrown, volunteer-run Jog-A-Thon, rewarding effort and teamwork, no plastic prizes, and fewer expenses than the last few years. Our approved budget is $12K, but we anticipate spending closer to $6K (prizes, shirts, supplies, popsicles, etc.).

  • Click “Not Registered For This Year’s Event”
  • Enter your name and email address, then click “Submit”
  • Follow the instructions on-screen to register Jogger(s), and add family and friends
When you finish, the system emails and texts pledge requests to your family and friends and allows them to make secure credit card donations online. You get notified each time a pledge is made, and you can track your pledge progress online. Call 1-888-598-7510 if you need help.

If you prefer to accept donations via check and cash, use this form and turn in donations to the front office ASAP to be considered for prizes.

PRIZES
  • Classes with 80% registration on website by midnight Tue May 6: Pajama Day
  • Students who email/text out 10 pledge requests via pledgestar by midnight Thu May 8: Crazy hat day
  • Top class in each grade with most pledges per student by midnight Sun May 11: Extra recess time
  • Class with most pledges per student by midnight Sun May 11: Popcorn party
  • Top class in each grade with the most pledges per student by midnight May 15: Popsicle Party
  • Top class in the whole school with the most pledges by midnight May 15 (based on average per student): Ice Cream Party
  • Top class in each grade with the most money raised (based on average per student): Dance Party
  • Top class in whole school with the most money raised (based on average per student): Trophy and Pizza Party
  • Miss/Mr. Congeniality: One star student from each grade who shows sportsmanship, teamwork, character, and school spirit will win:
    • pre-K thru 2nd: a bike (donated by Kiwanis Bikes);
    • 3rd grade: Beginner climbing lesson for 2 at Basecamp (donated by Whitney Peak);
    • 4th grade: (2) Day passes & climbing gear rental at Basecamp (donated by Whitney Peak);
    • 5th grade: Family Archery range & equipment for 1hr, up to 4 people (donated by High Desert Archery)
  • Most Laps: Student who runs the most laps (one winner per grade) will receive:
    • Pre-K thru 1st: bike (donated by Reno Bike Project);
    • 2nd-5th: Family Archery range & equipment for 1hr, up to 4 people (donated by High Desert Archery)
  • Top Fundraiser Per Grade: The top fundraiser per grade will win:
    • 1st & 2nd place (one from pre-K thru 2nd, and one from 3rd-5th): All-access wrist bands to Coconut Bowl (donated by Coconut Bowl);
    • 3rd-7th place: $20 gift card
  • If the school goal of $60,000 is raised, Principal Lane & Dean Briggs will surprise the students with something fun & silly!
